The Fujifilm X-E3 24.3 MP Mirrorless Camera Body Only a progression in their rangefinder-styled mirrorless series, and features an updated sensor and processor along with familiar classic design. Revolving around the 24.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS III sensor and X-Processor Pro image processor, high-resolution stills can be recorded with notable sharpness and clarity due to the sensor’s organic layout and omission of an optical low-pass filter.
The sensor and processor combination also avails quick continuous shooting up to 14 fps, an extended sensitivity range to ISO 51200, and the ability to record UHD 4K/30 video or Full HD 1080p/60 video.
24.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS III Sensor:- Utilizing Fujifilm’s unique, randomized pixel array, the 24.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS III sensor affords a high degree of image quality and sharpness due to the omission of an optical low-pass filter. Versus conventional pixel patterns, the X-Trans design more closely mimics the organic nature of film in order to produce nuanced colors and smooth tonal transitions, while also reducing moiré and aliasing.
X-Processor Pro:- Aside from benefiting the low-light performance with an expandable sensitivity range to ISO 51200, the X-Processor Pro also contributes to fast performance throughout the camera system, including a start-up time of 0.4 seconds, shutter lag time of 0.05 seconds, shooting interval time of 0.25 seconds, and a continuous shoot rate of 14 fps when working with an electronic shutter, or 8 fps with a mechanical shutter.
UHD 4K and Full HD Video:- The X-E3 supports both recording in both UHD 4K/30p and Full HD 1080/60p video resolutions. Film Simulation modes can be used during recording to give a distinct look to footage, and video can also be output via HDMI to an external recorder or monitor, and a mic jack is featured for working with an external microphone.
High Resolution:- High-resolution 2.36m-dot electronic viewfinder allows for bright, clear eye-level monitoring with a frame rate of 54.54 fps for smooth monitoring in a range of lighting conditions. A dedicated Focus Lever provides faster, more intuitive control over selecting specific focus points while shooting.
1-Point Autofocus System:- Utilizing both contrast- and phase-detection methods, the hybrid autofocus system employs 91 total points, which can be divided into 325 total areas for a high degree of focusing accuracy in a variety of lighting conditions. Approximately 50% side-to-side and 75% top-to-bottom of the frame is covered by phase-detection points in order to provide fast AF performance to suit working with moving subjects.
Operation:- With options to switch between manual and auto modes, this camera lets you take pictures, snapshots, candid moments and artistic photos in an instant, depending on the situation. The manual mode comes with a combination of settings on the shutter speed dial and the lens’s aperture ring so that you capture the moment just as you want it to be remembered. The auto mode, on the other hand, selects the optimum autofocus and exposure to give you pictures that are vivid and natural.
Real Time Viewfinder and Touchscreen LCD:- This camera comes equipped with a 0.62x* / 100% field of view and 2.36M-dot organic EL electronic viewfinder. This not only helps project the person/thing to be photographed clearly even in bright outdoor scenes but also aids boast a display time lag of just 0.005 seconds, in addition to continuing the capture in real time. The viewfinder also displays the various shooting effects for your easy reference while you are capturing pictures. The camera also comes with a touchscreen LCD that supports operations with your fingertips. You can double tap, tap, drag, and pinching in and out while using the touchscreen LCD.
Connectivity:- Go wireless with the Fujifilm X-E3. Equipped with Bluetooth functionality, you can pair the camera with your smartphone and always stay connected. This helps transfer images automatically between the camera and your smartphone or tablet. You can also print pictures instantly when you share them wirelessly with the Instax SHARE printer.
